Cooked that famous Lancashire dish, hotpot using Marcus Wareing’s variation from his book Marcus Everyday. Served with curly kale, pickled red cabbage and Yorkshire puddings, rivalry on a plate perhaps but the war of the roses ended many years ago so I think the two counties can work in harmony on the dining table if not on the sports field 🤝
The recipe called for 4 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, I reduced this to a few drops and for me that was enough. There is also black treacle and I added a little extra of that.
