Autumn Comfort Food

We needed a nice autumn dish today so picked the a recipe from the River Cottage Everyday cookbook, chicken and mushroom casserole in cider. Due to the weather it seemed appropriate to add a little a bit more cream to the sauce so a couple of extra workouts will be needed next week 😁. The cider gave the chicken a lovely taste.

Served with mashed potatoes and spinach. #rivercottage
